Women drinking wine

Armstrong Creek Probus Club offers a warm, welcoming environment for anyone no longer working full time. We are here to make new friends and enjoy interesting activities centred around enjoyment, social interaction, and keeping our minds and bodies active.

We hold a meeting at 10am on the second Friday of each month for all members to attend. It is an opportunity for all members to come together to hear about club decisions, hear about member activities and events, and listen to an interesting guest speaker. There’s no limit to the topics up for discussion; all speakers to date have been very engaging and well-received.

The monthly meeting is held at the Armstrong Creek East Community Hub at 46 Central Boulevard, Armstrong Creek. To confirm the date for any month, check the Events Calendar.

Apart from our monthly meetings, our regular activities include:

  • Weekday dining out
  • Coffee and chat
  • Canasta
  • Mahjong
  • Walking group
  • Book club
  • Knitting and crochet
Our members also enjoy informal social gatherings, for example Monday Happy Hour or Trivia Night at the Grovedale Hotel, and outings like cinema sessions.

Probus is non-sectarian, non-political and non-fund-raising so we don’t ask members to shake tins or cook sausages outside Bunnings.

We are a relatively new club and looking for new people to add to our diverse membership.
